First birthday party ideas: Keep it simple

First Birthday Party Ideas: Keep it simple. 1st birthday parties are always the best kind of parties in my experience, as it is an opportunity to gather all those who have helped to get your child (and you!) through the difficult first year, and is almost as much a celebration of your success as a parent as a celebration of the first year of life.

More importantly think during a first birthday party is that the birthday boy or girl has a short attention span, won t really know what's going on and will be tired even more quickly than normal.

While the idea of having lots of food and people around, those kind of the best parts are saved for ages 4 and up, when your baby will really appreciate the effort that goes into.

For a first birthday, it's much better to have a simple get together with a small number of friends and family. in terms of food, again the birthday boy or girl won t be able to eat a lot, or remember that much of it, so that you can also Cook the food they like to eat, but certainly there is plenty of birthday cake to go around!

For our first daughter, can t there were more than a dozen people there, and it felt more like a family reunion for lunch of a birthday. breezy birthday he got a huge number of Cuddles and spent all his time burbling, smiling and laughing between those closest to us.

Was a great time for my wife and I to sit down and reflect on learning curve massive that had happened over the past 12 months, and for our friends and family begin scaring us with stories of what would bring the next 12 months!
