Halloween Party Ideas

So you are having a Halloween birthday party and you need Halloween party ideas, don't worry you have come to the right place. We have lots of SPOOKY party ideas for your kids next birthday party.

Halloween is the theme, but Halloween itself is a big theme. You can decide to have a Masquerade Halloween party or a Victorian Gothic Vampire theme party or maybe a Pumpkin-decorating party.

All of these parties have Halloween as their main theme, but they focus also on a mini theme. For example you can't have a super scary Halloween party if your kid is very young, but if your kid is older in age you can make it the most scariest Halloween party ever. Have a look at our SPOOKY Halloween party ideas below, they will wow you off!

We have easy and cheap Halloween party ideas for invitations, just look below.

Halloween Bat Invitation
Halloween Bat Template
Fold a sheet of black construction paper, so it looks like an invitation card. Trace the shape of our Halloween Bat onto the black invitation card - as you would do with a valentine heart, trace down the half bat shape, cut it out.

Glue a orange rectangular on top of the black invitation paper, to cover the hole. Open the bat and glue it on top of the orange paper, add green eyes to the bat. Voila you have a Halloween Bat Invitation.

Pumpkin Face Invitation
Same procedure as above but use orange construction paper- on top of that glue a black square. Trace the shape of a Pumpkin Face (easy to do) onto the orange invitation card. Cut and paint eyes nose etc.

What ever invitation suggestion you pick remember to send them out early so everyone can get their costumes ready and encourage everyone to dress up!

Costumes are very much encouraged!

Do you need Halloween party ideas for costumes? Well, the best thing is to take your kid to a costume store and let her view some outfits to get an idea of what she want's. Then you can order A similar costume via the internet, as internet shops usually have cheaper prices.

I promise you! In the shop you will get lots of costumes ideas and your kid can try it on. In Halloween there is no limit, your kid can dress up as what ever she want's as long as she puts a SCARY twist to it. Your little princess can be a witch - "Elvira" or "Morticia" from the Adams Family.

- Halloween Party Ideas -Check out or SPOOKY Halloween party ideas for decorations.

If your child is young don't put lots of SCARY decorations items all over the party room (house), it may scare your kid, and you don't want your kid to cry on her birthday, do you?

Keep it simple, with lots of orange and black balloons, streamers and lots of Halloween images all over the party room. And of course don't forget to put lots of Halloween pumpkins all over the party room.

But if the birthday kid is a bit older then look at our SCARY decorations below. Spooky Cobwebs, Gravestones, Spiders...: Put lots of spooky decorations such as gravestone, spiders, cobwebs and such. All over the party room. Spooky Spider Webs: Start by covering the inside and outside of your house with spider webs. Put them every were.

?

Spooky Ghost: Make a ghost to make your house even more spooky. Use a white bed sheet, draw and paint eyes and mouth, make your ghost look spooky. Make the "HEAD" of the ghost: make a thin paste of flour and water, cut LOTS of long newspaper strips, blow up a balloon. Start by dipping the newspaper stripes into the glue and press them onto the balloon, one at a time. Do this 100 times over until you have a round ball, leave one end uncovered.

Let it dry for more than 24 hours. Get a long wooden stick, pop the balloon inside the "Head" and place the wooden stick on the uncovered end. Seal the end with more newspapers stripes and let it dry again. The day of the party put the white sheet on top of the HEAD of the stick and place the spooky ghost were he can't fall, as many kids may try to touch him, when they see him.

Monster Foot Prints: Draw and cut a large footprint-shaped hole out of construction paper. Paint it with a paint roller and red washable paint, and roll the footprints up your driveway and down your side path, leading up to the gates of the backyard. Giant Bats: Hang lots of big bats all over the party room and outside your house. Make these very large bats by cutting bats shapes out of cardboard. Use an overhead projector to draw them very large (copy a picture out of a book onto an overhead transparency) and then paint the bats with red or green eyes. If you have an outdoor party place the bats around the yard with wooden sticks. Spooky Noises:Buy a Halloween CD with spooky noises or even better make one. Get light sensors rigged to sound devices placed in odd spots. Example whenever a kid walks into the toilet some spooky noises starts.. Ohhhhhh Spooky Glow: Give your house a spooky glow, use black lights instead of the normal light bulbs. Anything white will glow in the dark. Fountain of Blood: Via any party rental get a drink fountain (usually used at weddings). Get the biggest one you can get, have a fountain of blood, if you add a few chunks of dry ice in the fountain of blood = Spooky Fog. Spooky Mirrors: Get some few panes of glass and a few stripes of wood and make Spooky Mirrors, "mirrors that don't reflect". Place the mirrors in places were people will be looking at them. The kids will be really excited to realise they can't se their reflection. Candlelaaaabra: If the kids are old enough and your place is big enough, have a candlelaaaabra "lots of candles". It looks really nice, but this decoration is only for older responsible kids. Spooky Centrepiece & Tableware: Use orange and black table ware. If your child is young tie a bouquet of orange and black balloons to a pumpkin. Put other smaller (in various sizes) pumpkins next to the big one. If your kid is older have a Blood Fountain as centre piece (as described above). Add goblets, spiders, scattered candy corn down the centre of the table, also provide guests with pumpkin cookies with their names on, at each place setting.

Why not make a witch cake for your daughters birthday party. Please, no pumpkin cake, many children just want a normal cake like everyone else, they don't want a pumpkin cake every year.

Scary Witch Cake
You will need an 8-inch round cake pan and a rectangular cake pan measuring 6 x 10 inches. Make the cakes (your own recipe). When the cakes are done wait for them to cool and then put them in the freezer for about 20-30 min (makes it easier to cut later).

Make the paper pattern for your cakes, use the picture as a guide. Do first a template for the hat, then a round pattern for the face, then a pattern for the nose and the cheek. After that it's time to cut the cake.

Now it's time to frost the cake. You will need green food colouring, (frosting for the face). Use chocolate frosting for the hat and add coffee or black food colouring to make it really black. Smooth the surfaces, so it looks really flat. Use the leftovers of the cake to make the hat brim, cover these with chocolate frosting too.

Move the cake to a large tray (or were you want the cake to be presented). Now frost the remaining pieces and assemble all the pieces together- hat, face, nose, cheek, and the hat brim. Use black spaghetti looking candy for hair and mouth, use brown m&ms for the eyes and use gummy worms to decorate the hat.

- Halloween Party Ideas -We have awesome Halloween party ideas for Goody Bags, check out our ideas below.

To make your own Halloween party bag, you will need A3 orange or black tissue paper, 1 Halloween sheet patterned gift wrap, A3 sheet of white paper, ? metre orange or black ribbon, 2cm wide, 25cm black or orange ribbon 1cm wide, ruler and pencil, PVA glue and brush.

1. Brush glue on the white paper and stick the wrapping paper to it, then glue the tissue paper to the other side of the white paper. The sheet should be cut to 45 x 30cm.

2. Draw to lines, 5cm from the top and bottom of the sheet. Also, draw two lines 20cm in from the sides. Fold and unfold along the lines to make creases.

3. Cut where the lines cross, fold the two small tabs in.

4. Paste glue along the four long tabs, lift the paper so A and B meet. Press the long tabs together then take the small tabs (inside) and pull the small tags up, glue them to the sides. Now you will have a box shape.

5. Now make creases, so it looks like a bag. Make 3 hole on each side (on top of the bag). Thread the orange or black ribbon through the outside holes, to make handles. Tie a knot on the inside of the ribbon.

6. After you have put all your favors in the bag, thread a orange or black ribbon (the small ribbon) through the middle holes and tie it in a bow.

Fill your party bag with small toys, bubbles, a colouring book,? Halloween stickers, homemade orange play dough, glow sticks etc.

- Halloween Party Ideas -Take lots and lots of pictures of each guest with your digital camera. After the party with the help of your computer put some Halloween border (bats, ghost, pumpkins, etc) around the pictures. Put a note at the end of the picture thanking guests for coming. Email the pictures to each guest (if the kids are to small email it to their parents).

Clown Birthday Party Ideas

A Clown birthday party is so much fun and kids love them. There has to be a Clown, either you get a professional circus Clown at your party or you dress up as one and learn some tricks. Now lets start planning.

Balloon Invitations
To make this Clown birthday party invitation you need to blow up a balloon and write the party information on it with permanent markers.

When done deflate the balloon and put it in an envelope with a handful of confetti. If you want, you can include a small note telling guests to blow up the balloon to read the party information.

Clown Invitations
To make this Clown birthday party invitation you need to find a nice looking Clown face picture on the internet. Print it out and put different coloured glitter glue on the face of the Clown so the Clown's face shines. For example if the nose of the Clown is green put green litter on it, if the mouth is red put red glitter on it, etc.

Wording:
I am having a Clown Birthday Party!
Come and Join Us in the Fun!
There will be Face Painting and more Fun!
Date, Time, Address.
RSVP to "phone nr" by "date".

At this Clown birthday party the birthday girls should dress up as a Clown and have her face painted as a Clown.

When guests arrive transform them into Clowns. Make, buy or rent circus Clown accessories, such red noses, bow ties, wigs, white gloves, etc.

The theme colours for this Clown birthday party are red, blue, and yellow. Decorate the party area with lots of balloons and streamers in the theme colours. Have lots of colourful streamers hanging down from the entrance of a door. So the kids have to go through it every time they go from one room to another.

Decorate your house with Clown posters on the walls and front door and use really cool colour sheets on the walls. Place stuffed animals all around the party area. A good idea is to set up a small circus tent inside the party room. Put lots of big pillows (red, blue and yellow) under the tent, so the kids can sit there.

Use a red table cover and paper plates, paper cups with circus Clowns on them. Decorate the table with toy Clowns and lots of confetti stars. For centrepiece have a Clown cupcake tree. Frost cupcakes to look like clown faces and put them on a silver cupcake tower (you will find this at party stores). Place the cupcake tower in the middle of the table.

A good idea is to have a Clown holding a bouquet of helium balloons at the entrance to give to each child as they arrive to the Clown birthday party. And lastly don't forget to have marching music playing in the background.

Clown Make Over & Face Painting
As guests arrive transform them into small Clowns. First stop is the wardrobe station were the little guests will be dressed up as Clowns. You need to have a big box full of Clown clothes that the kids can choose from. The second station is the mini-maker over table, were kids will get face painted as Clowns. Have a parent or teen help you with the face painting, each kid should receive a red nose, pink cheeks, arched browns, and a big smile. You can also paint stars or moons on the cheeks of the children.

Balloon Relay
Divide the kids into two pairs. Line all pairs up at the starting line. The pairs have to stand back to back at the starting line. Place a balloon between the pairs legs, they have to squish the balloon from keeping it to fall down. Start the game by counting to three, the first pair to reach the finishing line with the balloon between their legs wins. If the balloon breaks or falls the pair have to return to the starting line to get a new balloon. This game is best played outside.

Clown Relay
Divide the kids into two groups. Ask the kids to put on their original clothes. At the opposite side of the starting line their has to be two Clown outfits. The first team member to start from each team has to run to the other side, get dressed in the Clown clothes and then run back to it's team members and get the Clown clothes off. Next team member has to put the Clown clothes on, run to the other side, take the Clown clothes off and run back to is team members, etc. The first team to finish, wins the game.

Pie Eating Contest
Give each child a pie at the beginning of the game. Count to three, the child who finishes the pie the fastest, wins the game. All children don't have to compete as some may not like this game. This game is especially fun for the boys at the party.

Fishing
Make fishing pole out of a stick with a magnet on the end. Let the kids catch a fish made out of paper with magnets on the back, in a mini pool. Whatever number the fish has on their back, that's how many candies the kids get.

Water Balloon Toss
Clown birthday party game similar to Hot Potato, but played with a balloon filled with water. This game should be played outdoors. Invite the kids to form a circle while music is playing in the background. Give a balloon filled with water to one of the kids, the kid has to pass the balloon over to the next player or who ever he wants to pass it to as soon as possible. Stop the music, the kid holding the balloon is out of the game. Start the game again and play until there is one player left. Have a small price ready for the winner.

Clown Toss
Beforehand paint a clown face on a large cardboard box and cut out a big mouth. Set the box in the middle of the party room. Give the first kid to go two beanbags. He has to try to throw the beanbag through the mouth hole on the Clown's face.

Clown Stunts
Have the kids perform simple stunts. Before they do this let the Clown teach the kids simple stunts. When the kids are ready let them perform in groups in front of the other kids and parents with the help of the Clown.

Clown Pi?ata
Kids love pi?atas and it's lots of fun. Fill the pi?ata with Clown related small items and lots of candy.

Clown Story
Finish the party of with a Clown story.

We have lots of yummy food ideas below, pick the ideas you fancy the most. Elephant & Monkey Sandwiches: Serve sandwiches filled with peanut butter and banana. Cut out a picture of a Clown from a clipart, paper plate, etc. Place the picture on top of the frosted cake. Trace the outline of the Clowns body with a toothpick. When done remove the picture from the cake. Using cake writing gel, trace the Clowns face outlines, etc. Use the picture of the Clown for guidance when applying colour gel to the clowns hair, eyes, skin, etc.

To make these Clown goody bags your need to buy red, yellow, green and blue coloured bandanas. Place the favors in the middle of the bandana, close the bandana and tie the bags with a ribbon (same colour as the bandana). You will have different coloured goody bags.

You can make Scooby Doo invitations in the shape of dog bones. On the front or on one side of each invitation you can write something like "Scooby Doo Where Are You?". And then on the inside or the other side of the invitation you can write "Jeremy's Birthday Party - that's where!".

Here are printable dog-bone invitations you can print out:

For more Scooby Doo birthday party ideas you can write something like “Scooby Doo and the Gang request your presence to help solve a birthday mystery! Join the Mystery Inc. gang at the Malt Shop (your address)” Also add the date, time, and RSVP with "It won't be a party without all you meddling kids! So please call (add your RSVP number)". You can finish it up with a paw print on the envelope or as a signature on the invitation.

Another idea is to write something like:"Up in the woods (that are dark and damp...), there's a mystery to be solved at (your last name) Camp. We invite you to collect all the clues, so make sure you wear some athletic shoes! There'll be running and laughing, and with Scooby's help we'll have a really rood rime!!".

One of those cool Scooby Doo birthday party ideas is to make the writing of the invitation more Scooby-style by adding words that Scooby and the gang tend to say, for example: "Jeepers!", "Zoinks!", "Like, wow!", "Man, oh, man", "Here we go again!", "Jinkies!", etc. On the top of the invitation you can also write "Calling all meddling kids!".

We've also created dog-bowl invitations that fit the Scooby Doo birthday party ideas theme:

If you're creating a more 'mysterious' Scooby Doo theme, you can write up your invitations and put them in manila folders or envelopes with "Mystery, Inc.", “Top Secret”, “Confidential”, or “Highly Classified Information” written on each envelope.

You can also write the invitations in a secret code. Even try to create a secret code Scooby-style, with things Scooby and the gang usually say, using words and known phrases from the TV show and movie.

We've created cool Mystery Machine invitations that you can print out as well. Check out the worded and blank Mystery Machine printable invitations:

If you have any Scooby Doo comic books you can cut out some of the scenes and tape on to each invitation a different scene. If you don't want to cut your Scooby Doo comic books or regular books, copy and print out the pages instead. It's nice to see the whole gang in a Scooby Doo scene!

Check out these cool ready-made Scooby Doo invitations:

If you want to have a specific color theme for your Scooby Doo birthday party ideas, it could be nice to use the colors of the Mystery Machine (light blue, light green, and red). You can also add brown as the Scooby color. Here are bright blue balloons and lime green balloons perfect for the mystery machine colors.

You can go for a 70's look (since Scooby Doo and the all the other characters are from the groovy 70's!). Your decor can have a groove to it (flowers just like the Mystery Machine, 70's colors, smiley-faces, etc.). Here are some cool 70's decorations to check out. Another one of those really cool Scooby Doo birthday party ideas is to decorate with dog paw-prints on your floor leading to the party area. Here are dog paw-prints that that you can print out:

One of those cool Scooby Doo birthday party ideas is to create the Mystery Machine. To do this, take a refrigerator box and cut out 2 rectangles (for windows). Paint the boxes lime green and write "Mystery Machine" on them in funky orange letters. Take leftover cardboard and make orange/red flowers to stick them onto the mystery machine. The kids can take photographs with their heads sticking out of the windows.

If you have a close friend or family that has a big van, you can ask them to bring the van a day before the party and decorate it to look similar to the Mystery Van. You can put flower magnets on it, tape on colored paper, and write a big sign saying "The Mystery Machine". Then on the day of the party you can have the Mystery Machine van drive in at a specific time during the party and all the kids will love it! You can photograph each kid sitting or standing by the Mystery Machine and then send these photos with the thank-yous.

If you don't have that much time to build or create your own Mystery Machine, you can also print out this free printable Mystery Van decoration and glue on a picture of the birthday child in the window of the van:

If you're going for a spookier look, it's a great idea to use your Halloween decorations along with the Scooby Doo birthday party ideas you'll find here. If you have a garage, it could be cool to clear it out and use it as the party area (usually garages have that musty air that fits a scary scene). Decorate the walls with masks, cobwebs, hanging rubber spiders, bats, etc. You can cover the walls and windows with black paper or fabric and dim the lights. Hang crepe streamers from the doorways for a little added mystery. Set up a cave by draping blankets and sheets over the furniture.

You can also consider having a fog machine for that heavy and dusty mysterious mood. Here are cool Halloween decorations you can check out for more Scooby Doo birthday party ideas and decorations.

You can also print out these Halloween printable decorations that really fit this theme:

For lots more printable Halloween printables check out our website coolest-holiday-parties.com.

Scooby and Shaggy were always running from ghosts so you can decorate with ghosts. Take a white plastic table cover and cut it into four equal pieces. Then, for each ghost inflate an 11” black latex balloon and drape one of the four pieces of table cover over the balloon, leaving the tied end of the balloon on top. Cut a very small slit on the top of the white table cover and then push the tied end of the balloon through the slit. Then, carefully mark and cut out eye holes from the table cover.

Attach curling ribbon to the ceiling and then tie it to the tied end of the balloon that is coming out of the slit. Your ghosts will then come to life whenever someone goes by (when the wind moves them).

You can add all kinds of signs that are written in a scary font, for example "Do Not Enter", "Zoinks, Jarred is 6!", "Meddling Kids Beware!", "Jeepers, Watch Out for Creepers", etc. and have pictures of ghosts or tombstones surrounding the text of the sign. You can also have signs saying things from the TV show and movie, like "Scooby Doobie Doooo!". You can have signs saying things the way Scooby would say them, for example if your kid's name is Jarred, you can write "Rappy Rirthday Rarred!".

Top Tip!

Before you buy anything online, make sure to check out the Scooby Doo birthday party supplies being offered on eBay. Often, you'll find new supplies at a fraction of what they cost at the stores:

One of the coolest Scooby Doo birthday party ideas is to have the guests dress in Scooby garb. You can give the boys a red scarf (for Freddy) or a Scooby dog tag. You or the kids can create their own Scooby Doo tags by using blue ribbon and a yellow and blue construction paper diamond shape with "SD" written on it. Just punch a hole in the diamond and put the ribbon through it. You can also give them these cool Scooby Doo ears or these pre-made Scooby Doo tags.

The girls can pick between a headband (for Daphne) and black glasses for Velma (which can be made out of black pipe cleaners). The kids can also wear these cool 70's costume accessories (peace signs, cool 70's sunglasses, wigs, hats, 70's necklaces, etc.). It can also be nice to have someone do face painting (painting on people's faces flowers, peace symbols, stars, etc.).

If your kid loves Scooby Doo, and wants to look like him or any other Scooby Doo characters, here's a great kids Scooby Doo costume to check out. If you don't want to buy any of the costumes, there are places you can rent them and use them for 24 to 48 hours.

It could also be really nice if the adults got dressed as a few of the Scooby Doo characters. Here are cool Scooby Doo and the gang costumes.

Our coolest homemade costumes site has lots of Scooby Doo birthday party ideas for costumes. Check out all of the homemade Scooby Doo character costumes your kid may like to wear for his or her party.

You can also check out these really cool Scooby and the gang ready-made costumes:

If you don't want to buy or create any costumes, you can print out these cool Mystery Van and Dog Paw-Print hats and use for your Scooby Doo party:

All you have to do with the above printable hats, is print them out, cut around the half circle, roll each of them up and staple!

Here's one of those cool Scooby Doo birthday party ideas. Have the kids create their own dog tags by cutting out the bottoms of aluminum plates, punching a hole to put a string, and carving with a point the name or initials of the child's name. You can also write the child's name backward on the tag's reverse side so that the type is embossed on the other side. Make sure to bend the tag's sharp edges so that no one gets cut. For the collars, use strips of felt with Velcro and have the kids glue plastic beads and jewels to their collars.

Before the party, record small parts from the Scooby Doo TV show (if the party is for older kids try recording sounds or moments that are unusual and that will be harder to recognize). At the party play-back the recording, and have the kids guess the Scooby Doo mystery sounds. They'll need to recognize which Scooby Doo episode each sound comes from.

This can be a really fun ice-breaker activity and one of those Scooby Doo birthday party ideas that is a sure hit. Tye-Dyed shirts go along really well with the 70's theme. Ask each guest to come with a white t-shirt so that they can tye-dye them.

Here's another one of those really fun Scooby Doo birthday party ideas. Before the party designate in area of the party and set up a spider web maze. You'll need very long pieces of black yarn string (at the party, each kid will get an end of one of the strings). At the end of each long black string tie a white balloon and draw on a scary face (these are ghost faces). Then weave all of the long black strings all over the area (it's best if you tie something very visible, like a red piece of paper to the other end so that it is clear to view). Then at the beginning of the party each guest gets an end of yarn and needs to untangle the spider web to get to their ghost. You can also put a candy or little prize in each blown-up ghost balloon, that way when each kid gets to their balloon - they can pop it and find a prize.

Check out these cool Scooby Doo birthday party ideas for Scooby cakes on coolest-birthday-cakes.com, the Web's largest gallery of homemade birthday cakes. You'll find thousands of cakes submitted by visitors like yourself with photos and how-to tips.

Here's a nice Scooby Doo candle to put on top of your cake.

Another of those simple Scooby Doo birthday party ideas is to bake a cake in a diamond-shaped cake pan. Then decorate it to look like Scooby Doo's collar, with the blue and yellow colors and Scooby Doo's initials "SD" (or use your child's initials instead).

You can also make a dog paw print cake easily. Make a round cake and frost. Then take four cupcakes and frost them in the same colored frosting. Then place the cupcakes by the top of the round cake around half of the cake (each cupcake is a dog finger/toe). With the cake you can serve dog-bone cookies.

One of the coolest Scooby Doo birthday party ideas is to use the birthday cake as a beginning of a mystery the kids need to solve. Gather all the kids together to sing Happy Birthday and then bring out the cake (with a dark lid over the cake). Then when you open the lid of the cake, the kids won't find a cake but a torn-and-worn note (burned at the edges) and that will start the mystery!

Then the kids start on a scavenger hunt to look for the hidden birthday cake! Create the scavenger hunt Scooby-style, with all kinds of Scooby riddles and clues (each riddle and/or clue could have to do with a different episode or quotes from the TV show or movie - things that the characters have said or done).

You can use these printable ghosts as cards to write on each clue. Just print them out on white paper (it's best if it's heavier paper), cut out each ghost and write a clue on it for the mystery scavenger hunt.

Scooby's Mystery Pizzas: Pizza! One of Scooby Doo’s favorite foods! You can give each kid two halves of English muffins and let them put sauce, cheese and toppings on themselves. Then bake and serve when ready.Shaggy’s Sandwiches: Shaggy and Scooby also love to eat long size sandwiches! You can make this a buffet that everyone makes their own sandwiches.Dog Bone Sandwiches: Make any type of sandwich the shape of a dog bone with a dog bone cookie cutter. First cut the two pieces of bread into a bone shape and then add the sandwich fillings.Dogs in a Blanket: Buy your favorite brand of hot dogs and croissants. Start by slicing the hot dogs lengthwise. Then unroll the croissants and stuff them with hot dogs. Roll the croissants back up and bake until golden brown.Hot DOGSCorn DOGSDog Bones: Use a dog-bone cookie cutter and cut bones out of refrigerator dough bread sticks baking it according to package directions. While the bones are still warm, use a little butter or olive oil and brush the tops with it. Then sprinkle the dog bones with a good amount of parmesan cheese. Into individual bowls, pour spaghetti sauce or marinara sauce and give them to the kids so that they can dip and eat their yummy doggie treats!Raw-hide Bones: Take refrigerated breadstick dough (like Pillsbury), they are about 10" long, halve them and twist a knot on each end, sprinkle with parmesan, bake and they look just like little rawhide bones!Mummy Dogs: Hot dogs wrapped with breadstick dough and two dots of mustard for the eyes.

Tip: It could be fun to let everyone eat out of clean dog bowls. Even write each of their names on each of their dog bowls with puffy paint or a permanent marker.

Spooky Drink: You can basically do anything, but a cool idea is to mix sherbert ice-cream with ginger-ale (it's supposed to create a lot of foam), and then put a big rubber spider on top of the foam.Swamp Punch: Freeze frozen hands (green-colored Kool-Aid in latex-free gloves) and have them float in grape juice!Scooby Doobie Doo Chocolate Drink: Chocolate milk (cold or hot) will do the job! You can also create chocolate milkshakes for that brownish Scooby color.Puppy Chow: Take one package of chocolate chips, half a cup of peanut butter and a fourth cup of butter, and microwave on high for one minute. Then stir, microwave half a minute more until it’s smooth. Then add one teaspoon of vanilla and pour over a large bowl full of 9 cups of Chex and stir. Let cool, and then pour everything into a large Ziploc bag, add half a cup of powdered sugar, seal the bag and shake. Then spread evenly on wax paper to cool. This treat resembles dog food and so you can serve it in little doggy dishes. K-9 Candy: You can put candy that looks like dog treats in dog bowls. Check out this K-9 candy treat dog bowl that come with candies that look just like dog food…. the kids will love this!Kooky Chew Treats: Also served in dog bowls - these are inexpensive cookie treats that look like real dog treats!Doggie's kibbles and bits: Any mix of dried cereals like Chex or any other crispy cereal, pretzels, trail mix, etc.Ice Cream made by the Malt Shop Chef!Rooby Rack (another name for a Scooby Snack :-)Spider Oreo's: Separate the two parts of an Oreo cookie, put three strands of licorice across the cookie and put the top of the cookie back on. Use two dots of icing to anchor red hots or M&Ms for the eyes.

We have created these printable and foldable favor bags and favor boxes. They are blank and so the kids can decorate and fold them themselves. You can also create them before the party. You'll find large favor-bags, medium favor-bags, and favor-boxes for you to print out.

For the favorbox and medium Scooby Doo favorbag - print out, color if needed (or print on colored paper) and cut out. Before you start gluing the favorbox and favorbag, fold along the dotted lines and assemble so that all the sides connect. Only then add glue and secure the folded flaps.

To create the large Scooby Doo favorbag you'll need to print out TWO designs. First, cut along the lines and fold along the dotted lines. Then, connect the two so that the left side of one is glued to the right side of the other.

One of those simple Scooby Doo birthday party ideas is to purchase bags with handles and affix an official “Mystery, Inc.” on them (create a stencil and either spray paint or color in). Inside, you can put Scooby Doo tattoos, Scooby Doo stickers, Scooby Doo accessories, scooby doo ears, scooby doo tags, and ghost lollipops (these are made by taking dumdum lollipops and covering them with coffee filters; then use a twist tie around the "neck" area and draw circle eyes and mouth on the head area; very cute and easy to make).

Pink Poodle Birthday Party Ideas

"Lots of fun Pink Poodle birthdays ideas"

A Pink Poodle birthday party is a great party theme for a little girl's birthday party. Lest get started with the planning?

Pink Poodle Invitations
To make this Pink Poodle birthday invitations you need to first pick and download a nice Pink Poodle image from the internet.

Set that image on the left side of pink cardstock. Below the Pink Poodle write "Ooh-la-la!! Le Birthday Party For Anna Lee". Then fold the paper in two, so it looks like an invite.

Now the Pink Poodle should be on the front of the invite. Gently, add some pink glitter to the Pink Poodle image. Write the party information inside the card.

Pink Parisian Invitations
With the help off the internet, print out Eiffel Tower clip art out on pink card stock. Sprinkle the Eiffel Tower with white or pink glitter. Write below the tower "Ooh-la-la!! Le Birthday Party For "name"". Add the rest of the party information inside the card.

Wording:
Ooh-la-la!! Le Birthday Party For Anna Lee!
A pretend day in Paris is waiting for you, Join us in the fun!
Le Details: Address, Time, Date.
RSVP to Madame "name" at "phone nr" by "date".

Either buy a Pink Poodle costume for your little princess to wear at her Pink Poodle birthday party or dress her up all in pink. Paint pink paws on your little princess and give her some pink dog-ears (found at party stores) for her to wear. The main colours for this Pink Poodle birthday party are pink and purple. So put lots of balloons all over the party area in the theme colours. Add pink curling ribbons and white and purple streamers. Put lots of stuffed Pink Poodles all over the party area.

Place Pink Poodle stand-ups all over the party area. Make them by coping your favourite Pink Poodle pictures into cardboard. Use an overhead projector to draw them very large (copy a picture out of a book, clipart, etc onto an overhead transparency). Cut and paint 2-5 large Pink Poodle cardboards using this technique. Don't have the same Pink Poodle image, have different stand-ups: sitting pose, walking, etc.

Shaded the cardboard in detail and place the Pink Poodle's around the yard with wooden stakes, or in the party room. For extra glam cover all the Pink Poodles with clear glitter and add purple bows in the hair of to the stand up Poodles. Do this by gluing a purple satin bow on the heads of the Pink Poodles.

Cut large and small paw prints-shaped hole out of construction paper. Paint it with a paint roller and pink washable paint, and roll pink dog footprints up you driveway, and down your side path, leading up to your front door, etc.

Decorate the table with a pink table cloth and bright pink tulle over it. If you can find bright pink striped and polka dot plates and napkins at your supermarket, great. If not pre-buy some plates, cups, etc with Pink Poodle images on them. Have a big pink tulle bow tied on the back of each chair.

Make or buy 24-28 vanilla cupcakes and frost them in purple and pink. Put them on a silver cupcake tower (you will find this at party stores). Place the cupcake tower in the middle of the table. This is a great girly idea for centrepiece.

Pink Poodle Decoration
Invite guests to draw and colour pink poodle clipart. Let the kids decorate their Pink Poodle clipart with pink cotton balls, glitter, sequins, etc. This is lots of fun, especially for younger children.

Trendy Collars
Invite the children to decorate collars for their Poodles. The collars are made out of stretchy thread and beads (normal beads and letter beads from craft stores). Ask the kids to think of French Poodle names as they have to put the letters of their dogs name on the collar.

At the start of the party give each kid their own stuffed Poodle. Have games and activities played around the stuffed animals.

Pin the Tail on FI FI
Pink Poodle birthday game similar to Pin the Tail on the Donkey. Draw a picture of a poodle on a large paper. Cut pink tails out of pink construction paper. Write the kids names on the tails. Put tape on both sides of the tail. When playing the game, blindfold the kids one by one, spin them around and let them Pin the Tail on Fi Fi. The kid who places the tail closest to the correct spot, wins the game.

Pink Gum Blowing
Have a pink bubble-gum blowing contest. This game is especially fun for younger kids.

Posh Pink Poodle Pare
Tell the kids to put the collars they made for their Poodles on their Poodles. And have a Poodle Pare inside and outside the house. Have your kids favourite poodle tunes playing in the background.

French Divas
Teach the kids French words and phrases so they can speak a bit of French during the party to each other. Teach them how to say- happy Birthday; bon anniversaire, goodbye; au revoir, hello; bonjour, please; s'il vous pla?t, thank you; le merci, and fabulous; fabuleux .

Pass The Bone
Pink Poodle birthday game similar to Hot Potato. Let the kids sit in a circle. The kids have to pass (a fake) dog bone to each other, as fast as possible, while music is playing in the background. When the music stops, the person holding the bone goes out of the game. Play until there is only one person left, the winner.

Fi Fi Says
Pink Poodle birthday game similar to Simon says. One player is chosen to be Fi Fi, his job is to call out "Fi Fi says and describe an action". The rest of the kids have to mimic the action Fi Fi is demonstrating, but only if she says "Fi Fi says". If she doesn't mention "Fi Fi says" the other kids should not mimic Fi Fi. The faster Fi Fi commands the more difficult the game becomes. Any kid who copies a movement from Fi Fi, without Fi Fi saying "Fi Fi says" is out of the game.

Pink Poodle Time
Let the girls play with their stuffed poodles. Giving commands, dressing them, etc.

Pink Castle Bounce House
If you have a big back yard and it doesn't snow were you live, rent a Pink Castle shaped bounce-house. This is lots of fun and the kids love it.

Pink Poodle Pi?ata
Finish the party off with a Pink Poodle Pi?ata. Fill the pi?ata with small related Pink Poodle items and lots of candy.

Pick some of our food & drink suggestions below for the Pink Poodle birthday party. Mini Croissants: Fill small croissants with cream cheese and ham or with turkey, lettuce and cream cheese. PB&J Sandwiches : Serve PB&J sandwiches. With the help of different shaped cookie cutters, cut out heart shapes, bone shapes, dog shapes, etc. Cheese Tray: Serve on a tray different types of cut up cheese with biscuits and grapes. Hot dogs Hamburgers Pink Fruit Salad and Ice Cream Pink Cupcakes Pink Poodle Frosted Cookies Pink Tea Strawberry Milk Shake Pink PouchThese Pink Hear Shape mini Cakes are so beautiful and they go with the Pink Poodle birthday theme. Make a sheet cake. Using a "big" heart shape cookie cutter cut out heart shapes.

Cut the heart shapes in the middle, fill the mini hearth cakes with strawberry cream or vanilla cream. Frost the heart shape mini cakes with pink frosting and pink sprinkles.

The best thing is to pre-buy Pink Poodle purses, there are so cute and not expensive. Fill the Pink Poodle purses with glitter sunglasses, combs, a plush poodle, a poodle bracelet, a beaded necklace, a poodle keychain and glitter gel pens with little notebooks. Take lots of pictures during the party. Sent out a complimentary photo-show and pictures provided via email. When sending the email include a small note saying "Tank You for Coming To My Pink Poodle Birthday Party"

I hope our ideas will help you plan a wonderful Pink Poodle birthday and I hope your little princess will love her Pink Poodle birthday party.
